Yin Yang of World Hunger by Deevad Yin Yang of World Hunger by Deevad
Enough food is produced in the world today to feed everyone, but it's not the case... That's the best way to see the total failure of our actual human societies ...

This is what I tried to represent in this picture.

How you can help ? First you can 3min to sign this free online petition on 1billionhungry [link] to express your support against world hunger. That's not a lot, but it helps to see population care about it. Thanks !

( I did this artwork a year ago, but I post it here now to complete my portfolio on D.A ; more to come soon. )

Amazing work.

This picture makes me think a lot.  Therefore I love it.  I am not going to pretend to be an art critic or to know anything about art..  But as an average person, who is white and overweight, I would like to say to the artist that I am not at all offended and I find this concept quite thought provoking.  I am even going to save money so I can purchase a print as I would like to use it as part of my teaching portfolio.
I also like to see the variety of responses to this artwork.  Some people love it, some hate it.  That makes it a truly amazing piece I reckon.  Well done to you!  I hope to see more work like this.

guys common this picture doesn't represent that blacks are inferior. The picture telling about who's getting more food wise, and that the world is unequally balanced. Like open your viewing range and don't be super offended.
Stereotypes emerge because of hate and hate leads to inequality.

just,,, yeah gomen for this little preach.
still like the pic tho

why are we always the skinny injured ones? =/

I'm sorry but I also think the suggestions made in this are too stereotypical.

Black vs white. Fat vs skinny. It's also obvious that one is supposed to be good and the other is supposed to be bad.

I mean, I understand the use of the yin and yang symbol and the other elements, since it's all supposed to be about balance. But it's a good idea tarnished by over-used and, in my mind, innacurate imagery.

It's stereotypical because it's true. Aren't the black people the one who are poor (Africa?) Aren't the white people the lazy asses (America?)
It is obviously not true for everybody but for most it is.
