That's one diligent watcher, sitting long enough for the birds to nest.

Somehow his headgear reminds me a bit of the game Ico, what with the lead role being a boy with horns. Nice presence here, would be interesting to see a more elaborate background/environment though.

thanks, I've watched on Google image 'Ico' , and the helmet look-alike , indeed ( without bird) . When I did it , I thought a bit of Jamiroquaï logo

For environment, you are true. I just don't have the patience for them lastly. ( well, I do too much commission landscape commercially those last weeks )

Beautiful concept and composition. The expression, the headgear, the nest and the birds.... how do you come up with such elements? Does it automatically form a picture in your head before you start drawing or you do first have to think it out?

Thanks for the comment. No, I never have the final picture in mind, I have a picture, but it's far from this. My imagination is good enough for the general image composition , pose of character and stylisation of face. But not a lot for the design details.
For the design and clothes / ideas ; a lot come on the way to draw. I just try to make the area of my drawing less boring, and explore my own taste. Thats keep me awake when I draw/paint.
